Newbridge House was refurbished to provide services for children and young people
Newbridge House provides services for children and young people suffering from eating disorders. When it was refurbished, they wanted to create a modern, safe and supportive environment. The key to the design was creating bedrooms which looked and felt homely – and the bathrooms were no different.

The Challenge
They needed to install anti-ligature load release fittings that looked and felt homely, offering superior safety for staff and service users.
The Solution
Newbridge House chose our anti-ligature load release fittings. Anti-ligature and shatter-resistant, they offered superior safety for service users, whilst the lightweight, detachable parts made ineffective weapons, minimising the risk to the staff at Newbridge.
Creating a homely environment
Similar to the bathroom fittings you’d find in your own house, the anti-ligature fittings also helped to create a homely environment for service users – restoring dignity, creating a sense of normalcy and aiding the recovery process for the children and young people in Newbridge House.
