Every Safehinge Primera handle is independently tested in accordance with DHF Technical Specification TS001:2013, ensuring it delivers the appropriate level of ligature resistance for its intended application.

This recognised standard classifies hardware according to how it performs under different ligature test conditions, helping you specify the right solution for each area.

A4 Rated

Handles including the Grab Handle, Pinch Grip Handle, and Turn/Pull Handle achieve an A4 rating, having passed rigorous multi directional ligature testing. They are suitable for higher acuity and higher risk environments where the greatest level of ligature resistance is required.

B4 Rated

The Oryx Lever Handle achieves a B4 rating, having passed downward ligature testing. It is designed for lower risk environments where accessibility, ease of use, and independence are priorities.
