‘Project X’ is a revolutionary digital platform that aids patient observation without compromising their privacy. Unlike cameras, our non-visual sensors can be located in the highest-risk areas without the privacy concerns associated with remote visual surveillance.
The new technology aims to safeguard patient privacy and dignity whilst providing 100% coverage, 100% of the time, in all areas of the bedroom, including the bathroom.

“As co-founders of Safehinge Primera, we hold a strong belief in the transformative potential of collaborative innovation to drive positive change. Our venture into the realm of Mental Health began from a personal experience: visiting a close friend who was undergoing treatment in a Mental Health facility. This encounter revealed the pivotal impact that such environments could exert—either fostering healing or posing detrimental effects—on an individual's path to recovery.
“Since that moment, our professional pursuits have been dedicated to supporting the creation of safe, therapeutic spaces within Mental Health environments. During the past decade, we have developed a wealth of expertise in the field of Mental Health design. We've collaborated closely with numerous Mental Health experts, engaged with clinicians worldwide, and, crucially, actively listened to the perspectives of Mental Health patients to gain insights from their unique journeys. This accumulation of knowledge, combined with the insights drawn from our range of Mental Health products, has culminated in the birth of this groundbreaking initiative.
