David Falkingham has been with SHP over the last 11 years. So, chances are you’ve also had the pleasure of working with him, just as we have.
David has made the decision to move on from his role as Safehinge Primera Site Director, and we're sorry to see him go.

His decision to move on has been driven by a desire to pursue his dreams of running his own business. With a continued passion for the mental health sector, David plans to focus on manufacturing and installation opportunities as a supplier. So we're delighted at the prospect of an ongoing partnership with him. It's not goodbye, just see you later.
Initially joining Primera as External Service Manager in 2009, David was then appointed as Site Director after Primera and Safehinge joined forces in 2016 with total responsibility for our Blackpool operations. We are immensely grateful for his invaluable contributions, not forgetting the mutual respect, friendship and camaraderie we've shared.
Over the past 11 years, David has made a real impact across the business including:
- Thousands of orders fulfilled on-time
- Operational improvements - driving process and system efficiencies
- A pivotal role in the design team for staple products such as Passport electronic locking and 5-way SOS.
As we continue to grow, we thank David for his strong and steady leadership and his help shaping our product range as it is today.
What does this mean for you?
David will remain with the company until the end of January 2021. We're actively recruiting to appoint a successor to his role - we know they're tough shoes to fill. During the transition period, he'll continue to work with our clients, partners and suppliers to ensure business continuity and first-class customer service.We're sure you'll join us in wishing David the very best in his new pursuit!
