As a team of product designers and engineers, we believe that good design should improve people's lives.  Working alongside you, we design safe and secure doorsets and door components for challenging environments.  Through our iterative six stage design process, we approach every problem with a blank canvas.  And we involve you every stage – not just a couple of you, but hundreds.

Operating predominantly in the Education and Mental Health sectors, you've made us market leaders in durable finger guards – supplying more than 70% of Local Education Authorities.  

In November 2016, Primera joined Safehinge, bringing together two market leaders with award-winning design and engineering teams – creating a company greater than the sum of its parts.  As the market leaders of anti-ligature locksets and handles,  we’ll continue to work together to drive forward innovation and raise the standards of safety in the sectors we operate in.

Today, we supply our anti-barricade locksets and handles to over 80% of NHS Trusts, and numerous private providers, with our award-winning doorsets for Mental Health, used extensively across the UK.
